I don't get it!

Why are ostrichs and Penguins called birds if they don't fly? I suppose they have feathers...maybe they used to fly. Penguins fly underwater I wonder if an Ostrich can too?
We have starlings nesting in our roof and swallows in the barn I wonder if ostriches would nest in the roof. Maybe thats why they can't fly because they'd make too much mess...yuk!
I wonder where Abby and Greg are they say they have too much work to do to write on here but I have lots of work too like reading and drawing triangles so maybe I'm just the best writer.
How don't birds write..why don't they talk like us they are always singing maybe its a language I can't understand or maybe they don't want to talk. My dad says animals use alot of body language, but I don't understand that language either. Oh well I'm going now do you ever have
